Valentine’s Day Fun! Bring your family and enjoy a night together at the church. This will be going on in place of KidSlam and Encounter. Also bring your favorite board game!

Families and students from all around our community will be able to come and receive a brand new backpack and pair of shoes* to get ready for the new school year, all while enjoying plenty of food and fun on a great summer evening!

Join us for a night of family fun at the Onawa Aquatic Center on Saturday July 29 from 6pm to 8pm!

You're invited to join us for our VBS Celebration beginning at 10am, during our regular worship service, where there will be a presentation from the kids about what they learned during the week, followed by a hot dog lunch and fun outside on the church lawn with a FOAM PARTY and water slide! Make sure to bring your swimsuits!!

We invite you to join us for fellowship with a light breakfast at 9am that morning followed by worship at 10am. Children’s Church for kids Preschool thru 5th Grade will also be at 10am.

Come enjoy a night of eating some great food and hearing a great speaker with other men. There will be food provided, but if you have something that you would like to cook feel free to bring food. The guest speaker will be the Morningside head coach Steve Ryan. This is going to be a fun night so come hangout and bring your son, a friend, or both!

Bring the kiddos for a fun evening of painting and tasty pizza at the WCC Family Life Center! Kids Kindergarten age and up are welcome to come to the church on Saturday, April 1st from 5:00pm to 6:30pm to take part in the festivities! We ask that you please register your kiddos online by scanning the QR code here and want to make you aware there is a small fee for the event. We hope to see you!

Come join us for an evening banquet to thank our volunteers and look forward to the future of our Church! This meal will be catered by Staley's and there will be free child care provided as well. Registration closes March 1st!

WCC would like to invite you and your family to a service where the whole family can take part together! This is a more child-oriented service and so services may look a little different. Families can come at 10am for a bit of worship followed by a short message in the word of God, take part in Communion, and then close in worship to wrap up the service. This type of service allows the leaders and volunteers of the Children’s Ministry to have a break on Sunday and allow for them to take part in worship together with their families. We hope you will join us for the first Family Sunday on March 5th at 10:00am!

Come to Whiting Christian Church for an afternoon of Nerf Gun fun and delicious nachos! Kids Kindergarten age and up are welcome to come to the church on Saturday February 25 from 3:30pm to 5:00pm to take part in some nerf gun action! We ask that kids please bring their own nerf guns and darts for this event. We hope to see you on February 25th for the fun!

Christmas Eve Services at 4:30pm & 6:00pm

We hope you will join us for a great evening of worship together as families, celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. There will be no childcare or children's services during the Christmas Eve services.

The Harvest Dinner & Offering has long been a call to each of us in the church to give above and beyond our normal giving to help support each one of our regular missions as well as particular needs that might arise within the community. We invite you to join us for our annual Harvest Dinner & Offering on Sunday, November 14th at 5:00p. The meat will be provided, just sign-up to bring a side or a dessert to share with everyone! Sign-ups can be found near the sanctuary entrance. Please let us know with the following link of how many in your party plan on attending!

Join us for a Soup Lunch following worship on Sunday, November 7 as Rusty Hedger will be our Guest Speaker during service that day. Join us together in fellowship for a great meal as well as the opportunity to get to connect with Rusty while he is here!

Our annual event for every car AND burger lover in the area! Come join us as we celebrate the stories and projects that ride along with each car that will show up. This year due to the rising cost of meat, we will be serving burgers by the Cattleman's Association at 6pm. Come early to make sure you have a chance to see each car!

For the past five years, we have been blessed with the opportunity to invest in our community by providing backpacks and other items for kids as they head into the new school year. We’re excited to serve these families in August by once again holding this event. God has called us to love where we live, and this is a great chance for you to be involved by serving at the event or by sponsoring students. Our annual student ministry lake day is coming up on August 10th! Supper provided!

The 4th of July falls on a Sunday this year and with that, we invite the whole community and the surrounding area to Whiting Christian Church for a service on the front lawn! The service will begin at 10am and all you need is you, your family, and a lawn chair for you to be comfortable in for worship!

We will be having a Fellowship Lunch following worship on Sunday, May 30th! We here at WCC are excited to be able to host a meal together as a congregation and come together in fellowship with each other. There are sign-ups available for those who are willing to provide items to be served at the lunch. We look forward to gathering together on May 30th!
