Regular Volunteer Opportunities • the WCC Serve Teams
Audio/Visual Team
Our team works behind the scenes to provide an enhanced worship environment through audio and also visuals including sound, lighting, and images.
Building & Grounds Team
Our team works behind the scenes to maintain and support every physical area of our church.
Care Team
Our team provides encouragement through pastoral care of hospital and nursing home patients, as well as those suffering the loss of loved ones.
Celebrate Recovery Team
Our team ministers to all who are struggling with life’s hurts, habits,
or hang-ups.
First Impressions/Greet Team
Our team brings a personal touch to our worship experiences by connecting with people in the lobby, at coffee stations, and in the auditorium. Our team also welcomes people to WCC at the front doors and hands out worship guides at the entrance to the auditorium.
Kids SLAM (Children’s Ministry) Team*
Our team facilitates the check-in process in Kids SLAM to ensure children are cared for effectively and efficiently. (18+ years) Our team also invests in the lives of children through worship, Biblical teaching, videos, and games.
Life Group Leaders
We are trained to facilitate Life Groups and equipped to build relationships while helping group members discover their next steps.
Missions Team
Our team is responsible for communicating with the global missionaries that WCC supports full-time. In addition, we coordinate short-term mission trips to visit and serve our missionaries.
Security Team*
Our team of men provides careful watch over all Sunday and mid-week ministries (especially children’s ministry) to ensure a safe and secure environment for families to attend.
Student Ministry Team*
Our team invests in the lives of students through worship, Small Groups, Biblical teaching, and just plain ol’ fun.
Worship Team
Our team facilitates a powerful worship experience through vocals, and instruments.
