What is Sunday School?
Our Sunday School meets every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM and is a welcoming space for individuals and families to grow deeper in their faith and in community with one another. This hour is designed to be both thoughtful and relational, creating room to explore God’s Word, ask honest questions, and discover how Scripture speaks into everyday life. Whether you are brand new to church, returning after some time away, or have been walking with Christ for years, you will find an environment that is warm, approachable, and centered on learning together.
More than just a class, Sunday School is a place to belong. It’s where names are learned, prayers are shared, and lives are walked through together. We believe that faith grows best in community, and this time each week is one of the primary ways we connect, encourage, and support one another as we follow Jesus. We would love for you to join us this Sunday at 9:00 AM and be part of what God is doing here.
Biblical Foundation:
2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Joshua 1:8 “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.”
What is Life Group?
A Life Group is a small group of people (5-10) of both men and women who share the Christian life together by studying the Bible and building relationships to gain strength for life.
Group members are expected to attend regularly according to the groups decided schedule. Study prior to each meeting is not required; however, it greatly benefits both the individual and the group. No one will be put on the spot to share or pray.
Life groups run in semesters with fall (September-December), Spring (January-April), and Summer (May-August). This allows for breaks in-between and for different groups to form.
Our Life Group leaders are required to be equipped and trained. We are confident that you will find them enjoyable and knowledgeable. Life Groups are a fun and exciting way to learn God’s Word, challenge us to apply God’s principles, and build friendships that will last a life-time!
Biblical Foundation:
Acts 2:42-47 "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."
Matthew 28:18-20 "Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth as been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you, and surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
What are growth partners?
These are a small group of 2-4 people all of the same gender. The goal is for them to connect with one another at least once a week to see how one’s life and faith are going.
A large part of these partnerships is not just the accountability of whether someone is coming to Church on a Sunday morning, but are they seeking God in their daily lives. It is when we hold each other to this that maturity and growth in Christ will excel.
There is no special time frame for when growth partners start or end. The goal is for these to exist year round and be formed naturally through the connections that a person makes in the Church.
The church will provide questions based off recent messages and other materials to work through together with these partners to help spur on conversations.
Biblical Foundation:
Galatians 6:1-2 “Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted. Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
James 5:26 “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
